🤍 Taylor & Devon’s Western Vogue Wedding at Diamond Cross Ranch, Jackson Hole
If you’ve ever dreamed of a wedding day that feels Western, romantic, and editorial all at once — Taylor and Devon’s day at Diamond Cross Ranch was exactly that. Their wedding had everything that makes Jackson Hole weddings so iconic: the Tetons as a backdrop, timeless western details, and that effortless mix of elegance and grit.
Diamond Cross Ranch is one of the most popular wedding venues in Jackson Hole for good reason — it’s truly one of the most stunning places to say “I do.” Getting Ready at the Cabins — Little House on the Prairie Meets Vogue
We started the morning with the girls getting ready in the cabins at Diamond Cross Ranch, and right away the day had this cozy, nostalgic energy. The cabins were full of laughter, coffee cups, and the smell of hairspray — all the best wedding morning things.
The girls wore matching Birdy Gray PJs, monogrammed with their initials, and they were so cute. They kept joking that it felt like “Little House on the Prairie,” with the wooden wagon wheels outside and that rustic charm all around.
I leaned into that feel when editing — warm tones, grain, and a little vintage-film mood. It fit the day perfectly.
The First Look — Western Romance Perfection
Before the ceremony, Taylor and Devon shared one of my favorite first looks ever. Devon, with his classic mustache and old-west style, looked straight out of a vintage film still. And Taylor… her gown was breathtaking. Fitted and elegant with a cathedral-length veil that caught the light just right — easily one of my favorite dresses I’ve ever photographed.
The emotion between them during that first look was pure — a mix of joy, nerves, and that “we’re really doing this” kind of love.
Ceremony at Diamond Cross Ranch — Horses, Mountains, and Magic
Their ceremony took place at Diamond Cross Ranch, one of Jackson Hole’s most sought-after wedding venues. With the Grand Tetons standing tall in the background, the setting was unreal.
Taylor used Something Borrowed Blooms for her florals — a luxury faux flower company that ships your wedding flowers right to your venue. The arrangements looked stunning in person and in photos — no one could believe they weren’t real. Her bridesmaids wore soft pastel dresses (also from Birdy Gray) that added such a summery, romantic touch to the day.
And, of course, they included the iconic horse release during their first kiss — one of the most unforgettable parts of any Diamond Cross Ranch wedding. As the horses galloped behind them, the wind caught her veil just right. It was one of those moments you couldn’t have planned more perfectly.
Bridals with the Horses & Golden Hour Glow
After the ceremony, we took family photos and then spent time exploring the ranch for bridals. The combination of the horses, the open field, and the Tetons in the distance gave everything that cinematic, Western-Vogue feel that Taylor had envisioned.
Every shot felt editorial — timeless, a little gritty, and full of emotion.
Dinner & Speeches in the Cabins
We ended the evening across the road in the cabin area, where their family and friends gathered for dinner and speeches. The sun dipped behind the mountains, and you could see the reflection of the Tetons in the cabin windows — it was the perfect ending to such a heartfelt day.
It was a shorter wedding (around six hours of coverage), but it was packed with meaning, beauty, and those quiet, genuine moments that remind you what a wedding day is really about.
Why I Loved This Wedding
Everything about Taylor and Devon’s wedding at Diamond Cross Ranch felt effortlessly authentic — a mix of western nostalgia, editorial style, and genuine connection. It’s weddings like this that remind me why Jackson Hole is such a dream destination for couples who want something both elegant and down-to-earth.
If you’re planning a Diamond Cross Ranch wedding or an intimate Jackson Hole celebration, I can’t recommend this venue enough — and I’d love to help you create something that feels as true to you as Taylor and Devon’s day did to them.
