The Best Casual Dinner Spots in Jackson Hole — A Local’s Guide

One of the questions I get most often from my couples is where to eat while they’re in Jackson Hole — especially if they’re here celebrating their elopement or wedding weekend. You’ll spend your days surrounded by breathtaking views, fresh mountain air, and adventure, but when it’s time to unwind and grab a good meal, you’ll want a spot that feels relaxed, local, and delicious.

This isn’t a list of fine dining or high-end reservations — this is my laid-back local’s guide to the best casual dinner spots in Jackson Hole. These are the restaurants I actually go to with my own family and friends — places with good vibes, great food, and that cozy Jackson charm that makes you feel right at home.

I’ve lived here long enough to find my go-to dinner spots — the ones that locals love just as much as visitors. This isn’t your fancy fine dining list; this is my laid-back local’s guide to some of the best, most delicious, and most dependable casual restaurants in Jackson Hole.

Sidewinders Tavern

If you want a place that

truly has something for everyone, Sidewinders is it. The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is cozy and fun, and it’s super easy to get into even on a busy night — which is a big win in Jackson.

Their Falcon Pizza is one of my absolute favorites, and you can’t go wrong with their BBQ Cowboy Mac & Cheese or the classic chicken pot pie. Pair it all with a huckleberry Moscow mule, and you’ve got the perfect mountain-town dinner.

📍 Located on Broadway | Great for families, groups, or an easy date night

Merry Piglets Mexican Grill

If you’re craving something flavorful and fun right on the Town Square, you can’t skip Merry Piglets. It’s one of those Jackson classics that everyone loves — locals, visitors, and wedding couples alike.

Their steak bowls are unreal, and every dish comes out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. It’s the perfect spot if you want that bustling downtown energy and a margarita in hand after a long day of exploring.

📍 Located on Town Square | Great for casual nights out & people-watching

Cutty’s Bar & Grill

If you’re after something more low-key and local, Cutty’s (often called Cuddy’s by locals) is your place. It’s a laid-back sports bar vibe with amazing Philly cheesesteaksbig portions, and friendly service.

Their cheesesteak salad is my go-to — it’s massive, flavorful, and perfect if you want something hearty but not heavy. The only downside? Parking can be a little tricky, and it’s tucked away on the south side of town — but trust me, it’s worth it.

📍 Located on the south side of Jackson | Great for casual comfort food & big appetites

Snake River Brewing

If you’re looking for the perfect blend of good food, great drinks, and that classic Jackson Hole atmosphere, Snake River Brewing is a must. It’s one of my favorite spots — especially in the summer, when their outdoor patio comes alive with mountain views, music, and that easy-going local energy.

The food is always solid, whether you’re grabbing a burger, pizza, or one of their seasonal specials, and they brew their own beers right on site. If you visit in the fall or winter, don’t miss their apple hard cider — it’s cozy, crisp, and just tastes like Jackson in a glass.

📍 Located near the Town Square | Great for relaxed nights out, local brews, and outdoor dining

Big Hole BBQ

If you’re in the mood for something hearty and smoky, Big Hole BBQ is the spot. Their food is packed with flavor, and my friend swears by their burnt ends — they’re tender, rich, and absolutely melt in your mouth. It’s the kind of place that smells like comfort the second you walk in. Whether you dine in or grab it to go, Big Hole always hits the spot after a day of exploring.

📍 Located near the Town Square | Best for BBQ lovers & relaxed comfort food nights

Bin22

If you want something a little more elevated but still laid-back, Bin22 is the perfect choice. It’s a wine bar and small plates restaurant, and they have some of the best appetizers, salads, and wines in town. Their garden salad is surprisingly one of the most delicious things on the menu — super fresh and flavorful — and it pairs perfectly with a glass (or two) of wine.

The whole vibe is cozy and romantic without being stuffy — it’s great for a date night or an evening with friends.

📍 Just off Town Square | Great for wine lovers & sharing small plates

Glorietta Trattoria

If pasta is your love language, you need to go to Glorietta’s. The atmosphere (or as my friend put it, the “aura”) is just beautiful — warm lighting, rustic details, and that Italian mountain charm that feels both classy and comfortable. Their pasta is made in-house and is honestly some of the best you’ll ever have — rich, fresh, and full of flavor.

📍 Located near downtown Jackson | Perfect for a cozy date night or romantic dinner after your session

The Bistro

For amazing cocktails, delicious crêpes, and a fun, classy vibe, The Bistro is always a favorite. It’s one of those places that feels special without trying too hard — whether you’re sitting at the bar with a drink or enjoying dinner with friends.

📍 Town Square | Great for cocktails, brunch, or a night out

The Roosevelt

If you want a fun, energetic spot with great drinks, The Roosevelt is such a good time. They’ve got yummy cocktails, upbeat energy, and a cool, social atmosphere that makes it perfect for couples or groups looking to unwind after a day of adventure.

📍 Town Square | Best for cocktails & lively evening vibes
