Josie and Benn’s love story began in the summer of 2018 when Josie’s family moved from Louisiana to Texas. Their moms were best friends, which led to them forming a close bond. After a year of dating, they started a long-distance relationship, meeting mostly on weekends due to Benn’s work and Josie finishing school. By 2023 Benn knew he wanted to spend his life with Josie. He gathered all of Josie’s closest friends and family from Louisiana and Texas and proposed on June 24th in Dallas, TX! They chose to elope a year after at Glacier View Turnout at Grand Tenton National Park!

Josie & Benn’s Elopement at Glacier View Turnout

As wedding planning began, Josie and Benn decided to elope instead of having a large traditional wedding because they wanted a more intimate and personal experience. For their special day, Josie and Benn chose to elope at Glacier View Turnout in the Grand Teton National Park! If you know this location, you understand why they chose it! It is the perfect spot for a breathtaking background to your photos. The two escaped the crowd, making the occasion intimate and personal. I loved working Josie and Benn they were incredibly easy to work with! They made the entire experience fun despite the windy weather!. The wind, in fact, added a whimsical touch to their photos, making each shot more dynamic and alive!

A Day to Remember for a Lifetime

Capturing this elopement at Glacier View Turnout was amazing! In Josie and Benn questionnaire they had mentioned they hope to look back at their elopement photos in 20 years and relive the emotions and experiences of that day. That is exactly how I wanted them to feel when seeing their photos! Making sure they remember the classic style of their elopement and the incredible location they chose. Their photos, with a mix of color and black-and-white shots, are a testament to their unique love story and the beautiful day they shared with their loved ones. I am 100% OBSESSED with this couple and their photos!
